Slight spoiler:
The girl and the guy do not exactly end up together. They are seen meeting each other again at the end of the series, nothing more. Of course they couldn’t have gotten together, since the girl is still in school and the dude is a graduate student. The author could have made the female character be of age and not really take much away from the story, but they just had to stick a kid into the role. What is this obsession with kids?!
Great movie though.

The entire movie is about the galaxies most dangerous race, Redline, and love, friendship, teamwork, betrayal and several other things. But primarily the race, Redline!
I’m so happy this movie has a really good English dub. To me, it sounded way more wack in Japanese.
The character, different species, different worlds, different vehicles and everything else is so very interesting. We’re thrown into a brand new world that we know nothing about, where everything is new and instead of being curious or confused, or curious, you’re just excited, since the YellowLine Race is going on, and it’s fun to watch. Way too much fun to be bothered by other trivialities.
I ran out of things to say without having to think more, but this is easily better than the F1 movie, starring Brad Pitt.
I went into this with no expectations what-so-ever, and was really surprised to find that this was a feel-good movie. A movie that emphasizes how important the journey and the friends we make along the way are. I really didn’t see that coming..
Good movie though, really fun.
I did fall asleep for a short few minutes in between though, which was weird. But also surprising was how I missed absolutely nothing of significance during my nap. Which might indicate that the runtime was used ineffectively.
It could also indicate several other things about the reviewer, me..
The world building was sorta cool.
I watched the Chainsaw Man movie and the Predator Badlands movie back to back and I then assumed Predator would be ranked higher. But looking at the category scores, I guess the Chainsaw Man movie will be ranking higher.
Good movie. But I either unconsciously expected better or the experience was lessened by having known exactly was going to happened.
This didn’t really need to be a movie. It was far better than the demon slayer movie though.
It is fun though, really fun, also depressing, but more importantly fun!
The manga version was way more gruesome than the movie version.
This is not a real movie, it’s simply several episodes stitched together into something that has a movie-like runtime. I was so disappointed by how little the series managed to cover.
The movie went into one sad backstory after the other. And ended up taking too much runtime. I wish I hadn’t went to the theater to watch this.
Since they released it as a movie, I’ll be reviewing it as if it were a movie.
Rush is so much better. But this was good too.
The movie felt like watching an actual F1 race, but I was only about as excited as an actual race could make me. I consider this a negative, as I couldn’t find much that validated the movie’s existence.
While the film was technically good, I personally did not like various creative decisions. For example, the choice to include actual F1 race car drivers and teams only to show them being defeated by two fictional characters felt disappointing. Furthermore, there wasn’t much in the way of character development or other strong aspects that would have elevated the movie. The main character is played by Brad Pitt, who is now 61 years old.
This was a surprisingly fun Superman movie to watch.
There were a few reused shots toward the end, especially in the scene where Superman and Lois Lane were lifted into the air, but that didn’t take away too much from the experience.
What I liked most was how this Superman wasn’t presented as perfect or undefeatable. He struggled, made mistakes, and often needed help from his friends, his dog, and other allies. That made his victories feel earned and the story more engaging.
He also wasn’t portrayed as flawless. He had emotions, lost his temper, stumbled in interviews, and even went through a short existential crisis when he realized the message from his parents wasn’t what he thought it was. This forced him to choose his own path rather than simply follow what was given to him, and that gave his character real development.
The older Superman films, at least from what I know, often portrayed him as an almighty figure and a projection of American might. That image feels outdated and a bit cringe to me. While this movie still carries a trace of that patriotic framing, it’s toned down enough to let the human side of the character come through. For me, this made the film far more compelling than Man of Steel or the earlier versions.
A good movie. Quite well directed.
The script used was simple but good. They did have to make several languages work together, which was done well.
I wasn’t a fan of how it ended, since it’s acted as the launchpad for a whole series of movies, instead of being one great movie.
It’s good overall.
Way too rushed and built around performing stunts.
The script sucks.
The story telling is bad. Some people die and you couldn’t care less.
Tom Cruise keeps doing things that are straight up impossible. I know it’s called Mission Impossible, where the plot is Tom Cruise doing near impossible missions. But these are actually Impossible! There is no way these mission are in any way possible.
Knowing Tom Cruise actually did those stunts, is kinda cool. But it doesn’t add that much to the viewing experience. It possibly detracts from the experience since instead of making the story better, the team could be focused on doing the cool stunts.
There are so many issues with this movie.
